Colorado Hosts the 2014 International Snowmobile Congress

ISC2014 is all about gold!  The white gold found in the beautiful mountains of Colorado set against our rich mining history creates a remarkable opportunity for more than 400 snowmobile leaders from the US, Canada, Russia and Scandinavia strike it rich!!

There is no doubt that snowmobiling is a significant recreation of choice and major economic contributor throughout the 27 snowbelt states, Canada, Scandinavia and Russia.  There is well over 1.65 million registered snowmobiles in the US, Canada and Sweden alone.  It is estimated that snowmobiling contributes over $28 billion (that is with "b") to snowbelt economies.  And the sport is one of the fastest growing activities in Colorado, contributing over $100 million to the local economies and accounting for over 1200 jobs in the state in 2009.  But, this sport is not without its challenges and that is precisely why this forum exists - to learn about issues important to snowmobiling.  The three day conference of the International Snowmobile Congress in 2014 at Keystone, Colorado will be brimming with education, collaboration, networking and fun!

    Casper - Parkway Plaza

Casper is very excited to be hosting Fun Days for 2018! It has been since 2002 since it was last in Casper! We have already started planning and our goal is to keep cost down for everyone and above all for everyone to have a great time!

Although it is a year away we wanted to share with you a few things we have already have information for. So if you already are planning on attending we have a hotel blocked out for that weekend and room rate for you.  Currently there are 30 rooms but we will add to it as it is necessary. So you can book your rooms now if you like up until 3 weeks before event and availability. 3 weeks before the event all unspoken for rooms will be opened to public. Booking early is a great idea as hotels will fill up quickly for the tournament in town.

A few things we are working around are Casper being a central location. It is the hub for high school sports. That weekend is a basketball tournament. So that means many of the hotels are already booked by the schools. The second thing we had to consider is what hotels can handle the snowmobile trailers.

Currently we have 30 rooms blocked out at the Parkway Hotel and Convention Center. Each room will be $69 per night! The hotel is not far off the interstate; big enough to handle trailers, has a pool and hot tub. It also has a restaurant and a bar. When you call to make your reservation tell them you will be with the Casper Snow Gypsies to get the $69 rate.

Please share this with your club members and we will continue to give you updates as they develop.

Address: 1 Parkway Plaza Dr. Casper, WY 82601

    Reservations: 1.800.270.7829 Local Number: 1.307.235.1777

    Sincerely,

    Becky Thorne CSG President
