The Wyoming State Snowmobile Association (WSSA) is an association made up of 17 independent clubs from across the state and is an active member of the American Council of Snowmobile Associations and the International Snowmobile Congress.
The WSSA is the only group working full time to protect your snowmobiling access in Wyoming. It is governed by a board of directors who are appointed by their respective clubs. Meetings are held a minimum of twice per year at varying locations around the state. Officers (President and Vice President) are elected every two years and are limited to two consecutive terms.
Your Bronze ($250), Silver ($500), Gold ($750) or Platinum ($1,000 and up) contribution will go directly to supporting our primary mission of protecting, promoting, and enjoying snowmobiling in Wyoming today and into the future.

75% Of your membership goes to “Access Wyoming” Legal Defense fund
What is Access Wyoming you ask? This is the funding raised by the WSSA and our supporting clubs that is set aside for legal defense needs such as Writing Comment letters to land management agencies, reviewing land management plans and travel management proposals that affect access to our riding areas and lastly, provide us with legal representation in the event of lawsuits and legal action where our attorneys are needed.

25% Of your membership goes to WSSA “Snowmobile Outreach program”
This program allows us to provide funding back to our Wyoming clubs for a variety of events and functions. Some examples include Trophies and awards for youth races, antique snowmobile show promotions, avalanche education and training and WSSA “swag” and information for club rides, banquets and fund raisers.
